WEBSTER FALLS FILMS ANNOUNCES SUMMER STUDENT FILM CAMP Students currently enrolled in the 8th through 11th grades who have an interest in filmmaking are invited to sign up for the Webster Falls Film Camp being held June 18 - 22, 2012. The camp will be held at the Ava Gardner Museum in Smithfield, N.C.. During the week-long film camp, students will write, film and edit a short film on a specific assigned topic. On the last day of the camp, students can invite family and friends to come see their completed project in the Ava Gardner Museum theater. Instructors for the camp include writer/director Mark Grady, producer T.C. Freeman and actress Alnita Coulter. Billed as a "southern comedy of dysfunctional proportions," Whistling Pines is about a fictional town that has a reputation for having a disproportionate number of crazy citizens. When word gets back to nationally-know network news man Matt Carson about the town, he comes to visit hoping to do a story on the crazy town to boost his ratings. But, when the town hears the real reason behind his visit then it's to be determined who has the last laugh.
